Mevo Studios LLC ("we", "our", or "us") built the Investment Goals app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our app.
By downloading, installing, or using the Investment Goals app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
Investment Goals does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. We do not operate any servers or databases. Specifically:
All investment data you enter (symbols, quantities, goals, priorities) is stored locally on your device using JSON files and UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.
Since all user data is stored locally on your device, we do not retain any of your data on external servers. Your data persists only as long as the app is installed on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. We have no ability to recover your data after deletion.
The app uses the following third-party services that may collect information as described below:
We display banner and interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:
If you allow tracking, AdMob uses this data to serve more relevant ads. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalized ads only. Users who have purchased the remove ads upgrade do not see ads and no ad-related data is collected for them.
AdMob also uses Apple's SKAdNetwork framework for ad attribution purposes. SKAdNetwork provides aggregated, non-personally-identifiable conversion data to advertising networks without revealing any user-level or device-level information.

The app includes the Google User Messaging Platform SDK, which may be used to present consent forms to users in regions that require it (such as the European Economic Area under GDPR). This SDK helps manage ad personalization consent preferences. For more information, see Google's UMP documentation.
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove all advertisements. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to any payment or billing information.

The app uses Firebase for configuration purposes. Firebase may collect certain technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app instance identifiers. When you first open the app, iOS will ask whether you allow Investment Goals to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This permission (App Tracking Transparency) controls whether Google AdMob can access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads.
You can change this choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Users who have purchased the remove ads upgrade are never shown this prompt, as no ads are displayed.
Investment Goals does not independently track users across third-party websites or services. We honor Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you have disabled tracking on your device via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, third-party ad services such as AdMob will serve only non-personalized ads.

We do not sell personal information. Since all user data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect personal information on our servers, there is no data for us to disclose or delete. To remove all app data, simply uninstall the app. To opt out of personalized advertising by AdMob, adjust your device tracking settings as described above.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to restrict or object to processing. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, these rights are effectively managed through your device. You may delete all app data by uninstalling the app, and you may control ad personalization through your device's privacy settings. The Google User Messaging Platform may present a consent form to manage your ad preferences where required by law.
The Investment Goals app is available worldwide. By using the app, you understand that certain third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase, CoinGecko, Yahoo Finance) may process data in countries other than your own. These services maintain their own privacy policies governing the transfer and processing of data.
Investment Goals is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
